My scalp is full of spots and whiteheads. How do I tackle this problem?

Obviously, the majority of answers I'd get are ';Wash your hair';, etc. I do wash my hair, almost every day. And it's short - I have it shaved every month. My scalp is full of spots and whiteheads. How do I tackle this problem?
It may be the shaving thats causing it.

'Stubble' may be trapped under the skin and rather than growing out, grows under and into the skin causing the spotsMy scalp is full of spots and whiteheads. How do I tackle this problem?
if you are shaving your head then stop. use a good pyrithione zinc dandruff shampoo. the selsum or selsum blue is the best.=======mollyann
try cutting down or greasy food and u might be allergic to the shampoo or soap u are using to wash try changing that too
exfoliate!

You need to see a dermatologist, you could try getting one from your doctor,

or alternatively, go to somewhere like clinique or clarins or dermalogica who all specialise in skin care and deal with both men and women, or go to a decent beauty spa or salon where skin problems are treated. They will be able to advise you further and advise decent exfoliants, oils and give info on whats causing it.
