What's the difference between whiteheads,blackheads and pimples?

Blackheads are cause by oils and dirt stuck in a pore. A pimple is a raised red spot that is growing and a whitehead means the pimple has reached its full growth (the white is caused by the oils and muck just under the skin) these can be painful. If they are very painful use a warm compress or ice to lessen the irritation but DONT SQUEEZE. Squeezing leads to scaring. If you cant relieve the pain with ice or heat use a sterilized needle to puncture just the surface (dont stab) but again DONT SQUEEZE. Allow it to drain naturally and apply rubbing alcohol to help speed the drying process (avoid eyes and mouth). For blackheads use a peel off face mask or the ';nose strips';. DONT SQUEEZE a blackhead as this will only remove the surface area dirt and leave bacteria below the surface to cause a pimple. Wash your face daily with antibacterial soap.
