Is it better to pop big whiteheads or leave them alone?

Everyone says you shouldn't pop zits, but what about those huge nasty whiteheads? I get those once in a while and they're just so gross looking, I have to pop them. But would it be better to just leave them alone?Is it better to pop big whiteheads or leave them alone?
It is okay to pop them if you do it properly. Make sure you don't use your fingers. Your fingers and fingernails can carry a lot of bacteria, so try to wrap your fingers in kleenex first, or use 2 q-tips and gently push on either side until the pus (sebum) is out. When you see blood, this is a good sign that the bacteria is out.

Don't pop them. just wash your face and your hands often. it takes two weeks for a pimple to form a white head. when you pop a pimple you brake the skin and Create scare tissue that when it heals may obstruct your pores. its better to just let your body naturally push the pimple out on it own time that way you don't scar up your face.
try not to pop them, but i know what you mean, when you start popping them they start toget infected and spread over your face... just like me, grrr!
