What are the differences between whiteheads an blackheads ? An how do you know the difference ?

Ok so i am not that much a fashion person ! But i think i have balck heads ! Think is the keyword !! I still dont know for sure ! So how do i tell the difference and how to get rid of them ?I have like these three balck dots/spots on my cheeks and i dont know what they are.They look sooo stupi on me .Yeah and one more thing what is the difference between pimples and blemishes ?? black heads r black in colour 'n usually appear on da t-zone ie. forehead,nose,chin.it occurs mostly cuz of oily skin 'n blocked pores. white heads r white in color. make sure u keep ur skin clean at ALL times 'n if u have oily skin keep wiping ur face with a tissue.pimples r filled wid puss.NEVER break dem.blemishes r d marks left if u break a pimple 'n they don't vanish 4 a long time.hope dis was helpful! tk care!What are the differences between whiteheads an blackheads ? I always thought that whiteheads were the little white (heads) that could just be scratched off. Where a blackhead was actually a clogged pore that would have to be squeezed to get it out.
whiteheads are white (at the head) and clack heads are blac(at the head). blackheads are usually a little harder than whiteheads. whiteheads are a little more oozy.

whiteheads and blackheads are the terms used to describe lesions of acne in human being.acene vulgaris is the disease of the adolescents between 15 to 18 yrs of age,defect in acne is ,the formation of plug in the hair folicle,causing sebum[oil of the skin ] to accumulate at the base of the hair folicle.this sebum is cause of the dilatation of the oil gland of the face .this oil could not come out on the skin and is infected by the bacteria[p.acne] on the skin.this is the basic acne lesion of the acne is called comedo.if the lesion is below the surface it is called whitehead.if it is coming out of the skin it is called blakhead.treatment for blackhead is topical oint with benzoyl peroxide with sulfr ointments your doctor will decide if there is secondary bacterial infection in which case he may prescribe oints with erythromycin or clindamycin.some times oral antibiotics such as erythromycin or tetracycline are also used. you should clean your face 2 times a day and after exercise with mild soap and water.generally astringents are not required if the skin is not oily. it is advisable to keep healthy living.eat lots of fruits,drink 8 to 10 glass water daily.avoide spicy food,tea,cofee,alcohol softdrinks.exercise daily and have meals at regular times of the day,freshly prepared. consult local physician.
